Panic! The Canterlot Explorer's Society talk is in two days! I think Spike is getting sick of hearing me timing my talk, shuffling the order of the different modules, trying different forks in logical progression, juggling the numbers, anecdotes and props to retain the interest of all three personality types... I'd better get some quality sleep tonight. I tend to mumble when I'm tired. What if I'm tired tomorrow?! What if I drop my cards? Maybe I should triple check to see that they're all numbered. And then bind them together! Or not. Time for some breathing exercises.

At least you can rehearse at all. I can only handle any sort of public speaking if I keep it almost entirely an unpleasant surprise, and anything more than preparing an outline veers too far into admitting public speaking is actually going to happen.

I'm sure you'll do fine, though. Certainly you'll do better than I would.

The key for me is to know my subject and just use the cards to pre-plan what to say, when, so I don't forget anything. I can't just read a text, I'll drone.
