It was another glorious Spring day today. I went back to my sandy knoll, stretched out and reread much of Harness in Wanderland by Levade Corral.

It got me thinking about the strange mirror-verse that Sunset Shimmer is exploring, and how she might be affecting it. And the possibilities! Why are the Sirens still young?

Yeah, there's a lot to think about with that, and I wonder that too about Sirens.

Not just the Sirens. There's the high school age of most of the mirror beings there and the fact that none of them have discovered the gateway in a thousand years.

I would assume they're immortal and ageless. Or at least they were when they had conflict to feed on; perhaps not anymore.

I think they're trapped in an artificial construct and that time usually swings back and forth like a pendulum there. But magically rejuvenated by their red gem chokers? That's possible. But why haven't they found the gateway back? Why aren't there beings falling through the gateway to Equestria every once in a while?
