Our hoofmade snow flakes are nicer than the wild snowflakes I've seen in that they're regular with a marked six-ray radial symmetry that wild snowflakes can't emulate. Remember that Equestrian displacements are non-euclidean. Thus, wild snowflakes are subject to uncontrolled random growth that acts on each ray independently. Quite often, wild snowflakes are just tiny beads.
