Between The Bears
Jan. 4th, 2017 11:24 pmThere was a very nice meteor shower in the pre-dawn hours of the night this morning. I had to get up really early, but it was worth it. Not only was it mild out, but there were many shooting stars dashing through the sky, and even a few fireballs. Most of them seemed to prefer the company of the big and little bear constellations, galloping forth from the space between the two. I watched the show for a few hours, but then the morning twilight heralded the start of a new day and the constellations withdrew from the sky. The shooting stars then went back to wherever it is that they take their repose between showers.
